1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing ihavethe.money and making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

I Have The Money is a leaderboard platform where individuals and organizations can purchase a publicly ranked spot. Participants are displayed on a leaderboard ordered by their total amount paid. As a bonus, 90% of every payment is passed on to animal shelters. The remaining 10% covers operational costs.

3. Payments

• All payments are final. We do not offer refunds except as required by law or in cases of fraudulent charges.
• The minimum payment amount is $1000.00.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• We reserve the right to refuse or refund payments at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud.

4. Leaderboard & Public Profile

• By making a payment, you consent to your display name, motto, and total amount being publicly shown on the leaderboard and your public profile page.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the name and motto you provide. Do not submit content that is offensive, misleading, or violates third-party rights.
• We reserve the right to remove or edit any display name or motto that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate.
• You may update your display name and motto at any time using the private link sent to your email.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use the service to launder money or engage in any illegal activity
• Attempt to manipulate the leaderboard through fraudulent means
• Impersonate any person, organization, or brand
• Submit names or mottos containing hate speech, slurs, or illegal content

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on ihavethe.money is the property of I Have The Money unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. Shelter Payouts

90% of every payment made on the platform is donated to animal shelters. We are committed to transparent distribution of these funds. Details of shelter payouts are available on our Shelter Payouts page. We reserve the right to determine the recipients and timing of payout distributions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

I Have The Moneyis provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service. Leaderboard positions are determined algorithmically and may change over time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I Have The Money shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or your payment.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active participants by email of significant changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
